Bookings and Confirmation
Only bookings made via The Velvet Journey’s sales pages are accepted. Attendees will receive an email to confirm their booking together with instructions shortly after their place has been reserved. Please contact us via info@thevelvetjourney.com if you do not receive joining instructions. Only advancement payment made during the booking process will guarantee you a place in the workshop. Attendee places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Making a reservation does not guarantee a place until payment has been made. Workshop fees include tea and coffee. Lunch is not included. Attendance Please note that in order to get the best results from The Velvet Journey workshops, attendees are advised to attend the full days of their booking. However, we do recognise that exceptional circumstances may occur, in which case please contact us with as much notice as possible. Subject to availability , The Velvet Journey may transfer a booking to a non-consecutive day for the same workshop. Changes to the content We reserve the right to change the content, the speaker, the team or the location for an event, or to reschedule an event. Attendees will be advised of these changes as soon as possible. When notified of changes attendees may either withdraw, with no liability for fees, or transfer to another workshop of equal value. |
Standard of Behaviour
The Velvet Journey reserves the right to remove any attendee from its workshops should their behaviour be deemed inappropriate by the team. This would result in no refund of fees or other costs being given. Cancellation by you We understand that circumstances may arise which require cancellation. Notice of cancellation, transfer or substitution must be notified a month before the workshop commences by calling, in writing or e-mail to info@thevelvetjourney.com. If you telephone to cancel, you will be asked to send an email to confirm. The Velvet Journey is not responsible for any error in the delivery of this information. Cancellation received with 60-30 days notice: defaults 50% of the course fee Cancellation received with 30-21 days notice: defaults 75% of the course fee Cancellation received with 21 – 0 days notice: defaults 100% of the course fee Cancellation by The Velvet Journey In the unlikely event that a workshop is cancelled, The Velvet Journey will refund your fee in full but will not be responsible for any indirect, special, or consequential damages, including transportation, lodging, and meal costs. In the event of public transport strikes or weather conditions affecting transport, our events will go ahead as planned. In the event of workshop cancellation caused by an act of god or other extreme event, we will use our best resources to contact you. We reserve the right to cancel the event with at least 14 days notice. Attendees are therefore advised not to book travel arrangements more than 14 days in advance. |
